Litigation Associate
Mallory is an experienced, empathetic and passionate advocate. She appreciates that every client’s goals and challenges differ from one another, and she approaches every case with individualized advice and strategy. Mallory aims to calmly and confidently guide her clients through the litigation process, while achieving favourable and cost-effective outcomes.
Mallory began her career as a criminal lawyer where she gained extensive courtroom experience, including frequent trials, examinations, and hearings, but has practiced exclusively in the area of estate and capacity litigation for several years. Mallory represents clients in all areas of estate litigation, including individuals, trust companies, and the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee. She assists clients with will challenges, rectification applications, contested guardianship applications, powers of attorney abuse, breaches of fiduciary duty, contested guardianship applications, will challenges, passing of accounts applications, and assists in matters where an individual’s decision-making capacity is at issue.
Outside of the office, Mallory volunteers with the Toronto Humane Society and sits on the Board of Directors for Choice in Health Clinic. She also contributes to provincial and national legal publications. She is an avid traveller and hopeful home-cook who picks up tips and tricks throughout her adventures. She enjoys running, reading, live music, and most of all, her cat Izzy.
